About the Owner

McKenzie Brothers, MS, CCC-SLP

Speaking Life is run by McKenzie Brothers, MS, CCC-SLP, a local board-certified speech-language pathologist with experience serving patients across many different settings, including clinics, schools, homes, and hospitals. She received her Master's degree at Vanderbilt University and has specialized training in Natural Language Acquisition for gestalt language processing (one of two ways of developing language, which is especially common in Autistic children), pediatric hearing loss, and Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing for Childhood Apraxia of Speech. She is driven by the belief that communication is central to nearly every aspect of life and that every child's thoughts and ideas deserve a voice.
